The Lord's Prayer
The start of a new year is often a time of resolutions, or promises, of letting go of old habits and the pursuit of new ones. It’s that fresh start we have been looking for, a time to say, I want to do better, be better, so that I can live with more joy and freshness. Of course, the question is: what is the one thing that you could begin engaging this year that could transform your life? And what it the answer to that question is prayer? With that in mind, we are going to be kicking of this year with a new series titled “Prayer: learning to pray like Jesus.” We’ll be covering the Lord’s Prayer found in Matthew 6 and Luke 11. The goal is A) that you would begin to pray this prayer every day. B) That be engaging this series you would understand in a much more profound way, what it is that you are praying.
